artifact d:
best demonstration of professional practice
This entry contains the culminating presentation from my internship with Wellness & Health Promotion at Seattle University. This PowerPoint presentation covers prominent health and wellness issues for Seattle University students—disaggregated by race, sexual orientation, and gender—to inform policy and practice that best supports students with marginalized identities.
This entry demonstrates my ability to engage in assessment processes and then translate raw data into conclusions and implications that are accessible to a broad audience. This particular presentation was presented to the Division of Student Development Leadership Team at Seattle University.
This entry addresses SDA Learning Outcomes:
2. Understanding students and student issues
3. Exhibiting professional integrity and ethical leadership in professional practice
4. Understanding and fostering diversity, justice and a sustainable world formed by a global perspective and Jesuit Catholic tradition
7. Utilizing assessment, evaluation, technology, and research to improve practice
